Dr. Costel C. Darie Visting UB
On September 16th, 2016 Dr. Wood will be hosting one of his colleagues, Dr. Costel C. Darie, who is an associate professor in biochemistry at Clarkson University. Dr. Darie will be presenting his talk entitled " Use of Mass Spectrometry for Biomarker Discovery and Protein Characterization". Dr. Darie received his PhD in biochemistry from the University of Freiburg where he characterized the structure and function of NAD(P)H-dehydrogenase. After his PhD he went to work at Mount Sinai Medical Center as a post-doc where he continued doing protein characterization.
